Process Technology announces the acquisition of Lufran

MENTOR, OHIO, September 20, 2001: Process Technology, manufacturer of electric immersion heaters, heat exchangers, in-line heaters and temperature and level controls, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Lufran, Inc. of Streetsboro, OH, effecting the merger of the two companies. The acquisition will be effective at close of business on Friday, September 28, 2001.

The acquisition consists of the entire Lufran product line of industrial heating and cooling equipment, which is primarily marketed and sold to the metal finishing, printed circuit board and high purity industries throughout the world. Headquarters for Process Technology will remain in Mentor, OH, and all relevant phone and fax numbers used by both Process Technology and Lufran will remain operational for the immediate future.

Both Process Technology and Lufran have been in business for over twenty years and place a strong commitment to customer service high among their strengths. The synergy created by the merger of these two companies should be extremely positive for all of their customers worldwide. Expectations are to expand the product offering to all three industries.
