Process Technology offers new molded guard

Process Technology now has a new molded polypropylene guard for its QM series quartz and HX series fluoropolymer heaters. The new design is wider in size and features a universal mounting flange that allows for interchangeability between new and old quartz and fluoropolymer heaters, thereby reducing the need for duplicate inventories. The smooth, molded construction of the guard reduces plate-out and improves fluid circulation patterns around the elements, extending service life.

A similar guard is now being provided on the HXL series fluoropolymer heaters as well. Please review the new dimensions (shown below) to verify fit during any field replacement and as always, please contact Process Technology if you need assistance.
