Process Technology introduces a new, low cost digital temperature control

The Process Technology Series DLC digital temperature control is a low cost alternative to non-indicating and analog temperature controls. It maintains +/- 1° F and has a bright, easy-to-read digital display. The single set point control is available for either heating or cooling applications, and it can be ordered in either Fahrenheit or Centigrade readout.

The DLC is designed for long service life in corrosive wet process environments. It comes standard with a fluoropolymer (FEP) covered five-foot thermistor sensor (which can be lengthened with ordinary copper hookup wire). The device is housed in a vapor tight NEMA 4, IP65, front panel protected, plastic enclosure with sealed tactile switches. The thermostat is capable of switching up to 16 amps (single pole, single throw).

Standard safety features for the DLC include a non-volatile memory, programmable high alarm shutdown, sensor short and break protection, programmable high set point limit and a security code restricted menu. Options available for the DLC include ten-foot sensors, combination controls (up to 150 amps), and a plastic enclosure for wall mounting.
