Wet Process Heating and Cooling Equipment

Solve your problem... BEFORE it happens!
(Part one of Preventable Heating Problems)

Most product returns involving heaters, exchangers and controls can be broken down into a few key causes. Verifying some simple information prior to placing an order can help ensure trouble-free service and save all parties involved the time consuming task of processing returns. Listed below are the most common preventable problems:

· Incorrect size/length. Tank sizes should be verified before heaters or exchangers are ordered to ensure sufficient space in which to mount the product. Verify that the equipment is not too long or tall for the tank.

· Wrong material of construction. Verify that the equipment selected is chemically compatible with the solution in which it will be in contact. Solution compatibility guides are available in the Process Technology catalog or on our website www.process-technology.com.

· Duplicate orders. All new orders that are faxed or e-mailed to our facility should be clearly marked as a "new order". Confirming orders should be marked as such.

· Wrong voltage. Verify that the voltage available matches the voltage specified in the model number. A heater part number key is listed on the front page of the price list as well as on each catalog binder page for reference.

Taking these steps before ordering a product will help ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary returns.
